Consistency!
If you are in the creative space, CONSISTENCY is one word that you will keep hearing.
As true as it is, it is not very easy to achieve. Phew! the hard work of showing up every day even when no one is cheering. 🙄
Cheering yourself up can actually be boring (lol). But no matter what, we mooove.
Seriously, the way I feel when I hear the word CONSISTENCY has changed over time.
My reaction to the word CONSISTENCY used to be “Keep going regardless”.
Well, things have pretty much changed now. I have grown (just kidding).
CONSISTENCY to me now means; Finding myself more, re-strategizing, and improving myself non-stop.
The truth is that being consistent is not all about just doing, doing, and doing something or anything.
It is actually finding the right path and keep putting in the work to succeed there.
You can also be consistent in your journey to finding YOU and what works for you.
The key is being open-minded to weigh things, and eventually finding out what works.
Don’t develop a thick skull when you are on the journey to finding YOU.
Don’t be a coconut head.😜
But seriously, do you know what it means to be a coconut head?
It means CONSISTENTLY doing the wrong thing, and refusing to take to other people’s advice.
The CONSISTENCY result does not come when you are doing the wrong thing.
CONSISTENTLY doing the wrong thing is practically advancing in error. Don’t do it!
Yes, you may be working hard. Unfortunately, you will likely not get the reward for your hard work.
It is good to pause sometimes and just reflect on the effect of things that you have done.
And to my business people, you know I will always talk to you. We are here for each other.
I know you love your new website or the way you have been running things over the years. Yes, I know.
The truth is that things have changed. Those good old ways are no longer working.
You love this new project, but if it truly seems like it might never work for you; give it up.
Give it up and try something else.
It is okay, some things are not meant to be.
Anyway, I know that we are meant to be (me and your business)😉.
